Alright, I did it! This is the brand new look! Actually, I tried to keep it as much the same as I could. You can update your feeds, email notifications, and bloglovin’ stuff here. Some of those things will automatically switch (bloglovin’ anyway). The old blog will redirect here for the next year for all that stuff you might have pinned 🙂 Please leave feedback on anything you like/dislike or that is missing!
northern momma sewing up a storm!
Also, My Winter Wonderland outfit won in the sewalong last week! So excited about that! I’m still finishing up the details on my Movie Theme look – Mary Poppins! Let’s just say that I wish I had gone the easy route of Tinkerbell or Peter Pan. I’ve finally completed all three parts of the outfit, but I still need to find/make a hat, gloves and an umbrella! Hopefully I’ll have it finished up tomorrow.
I’m still here!! I’ve got a bunch of projects that just need to be photographed
and blogged about, a fun tutorial coming up over at Ginger Snap Crafts, Project Run & Play things to design, draft and sew….then photograph and show you – so many fun things!! And Kids Clothes Week starts January 27 along with a Peekaboo sew-a-long for the V-neck cardigan. Perfect timing, since I happen to love that cardi and it’s CHILLY here! Here’s a round-up of my recent cardigans:
I’m back! We had a great vacation, and the plane ride went smoothly – even with 2 munchkins! It helps that my friend Elsa was a there to wrangle them 😉
We were crazy enough to head to the states on Black Friday and did I ever get some deals at Joann Fabric! Flannel was on crazy cheap, and I also got a huge rotary mat for about $3.75! Unfortunately, it didn’t fit in my luggage like I anticipated, so it was just one more awkward thing to carry on the plane. Glad I brought it home anyway!
