Twig + Tale Upcycling Pattern Tour!

twig and tale wild thing shoes

I’m on the upcycling tour for Twig + Tale! If you love whimsical children’s patterns, these are what you’re looking for! I love finding new designers and I was so honored to be invited on this tour. I haven’t yet blogged about the super cute buffalo plaid vest I made for J, so that will come later, but it’s another cute pattern from Twig + Tale!

These Wild Things shoes (or in our case, slippers!) will rival the most well-known cute baby shoes you can think of. I mean, first of all, there are so many options for different animals…just check out the listing for all the photos!

The striped fabric was actually a shirt I thrifted from waaaaaay back when I was in Project Run & Play. I think I was going to make a backpack….but I can’t remember! The inside lining is a buffalo plaid from an old pair of jammies. It’s the same jammies I used to make the vest that I’ll blog about soon. The little bear ears are cut from a scrap piece of sherpa that I saved off something I altered a few years ago. I tend to save those fun little scraps!

The pattern has layers, so you can print just the size you need. All the cute little animal faces are included and I’m quite sure you could add you own favorite animal with just a little embroidery and by changing up the ears!

So there you have it! Cutest little shoes ever! Be sure to check out the others on Day three (see below) for more amazing upcycling ideas. Also, if you’re wanting to try some new designs, enter the rafflecopter for a chance to win 4 patterns from Twig + Tale!
