I whipped up a new Geranium Dress for kiddo to wear to church. She is growing so fast, I’m not able to keep up! This is a super quick sew, and the results are always fantastic. I sewed up a straight size 4 and added some extra length (I’d like this to last a few months anyways!).

My First HST Quilt!

So this kid is super excited to be promoted to big brother. He thinks we should name the baby after him. Typical 2 year old logic 🙂 

I wanted to make a quilt that was neutral (even though I’m having a boy) and that would match my house kind of. I almost went with a fun pirate themed quilt, but in the end, this modern palette won out.

I’ve made quilts before, but never kept them (and that’s OK!). They’re so much fun to make for someone else, since you know it’s something people really seem to cherish. Here are a few oldies (clearly my photography has improved in the last few years!

I used paper-piecing for this one (a first for me!) and love how it turned out!
