Whew! What a month it has been! Project Run & Play has come and gone, giveaway winners have been picked and notified (if you are Sandra C, Angela H or Karen B – check your email!!) and my little girl turned THREE yesterday! Her request? A tea party and a pink card. And a balloon. Of course!
Month: April 2014
I am so honored and still in shock that I won season 9 of Project Run & Play! Thanks to you, my readers, for believing in me, and voting for me! I’m so thankful for all I’ve learned this past month, and for the new blogging friends I’ve made. Looking back a year ago, I never would have pictured myself competing in PR&P. I didn’t even have a blog back then! Looking back a MONTH ago, I never would have pictured myself winning PR&P! I was up against some fierce competition.
It’s the final week! Have you voted yet? You can cast a vote for your favorite look over at Project Run & Play!
It’s Signature Style week! Also, thank you SO MUCH for your support – I wouldn’t be here without my readers and friends! I am truly honored to have made it to the finals, and I’m so glad that I was given this opportunity!
Pssst! Have you voted over at Project Run & Play yet? I’m currently sitting in last place and I’d love the chance to show you my Signature Style look next week! Head on over to PR&P and vote for “All Hands On Deck” – I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!
MMmm. One of my favorite chocolate bars is an Almond Joy! I love coconut, and cannot believe I haven’t tried making these before.
Have you voted yet? If not, head on over to Project Run & Play to cast a vote for your favorite (I hope it’s mine?!) and then come back here and read all of the details about this fun look!
Thanks for all of the lovely comments you left last week! And thanks to you, my readers, for voting me here for another week! I’m so excited to share my “Design Your Own Fabric” challenge with you today. This really was a tough one for me, since I usually buy my fabric based strictly on the “LOVE” factor. Modifying it further has never occurred to me. I decided to try a few options to see what I liked, and boy, did I learn some things! I tried Shibori. That was a complete and utter fail. I really love how beautiful it is when done right, but mine was anything but beautiful. Then I tried some glue-resist (like wax-resist/batik dyeing) and again, a fail. I did manage to dye my fingernails a lovely shade of blue though.
Have you voted yet? This race is going to be a close one! Head on over to Project Run & Play to vote for your favorite (I hope it’s me!) and then come back here to read all about my Springtime in Paris look!
You guys, thanks for all the love! I made it through to the second week and I’m SO EXCITED to share my “Springtime in Paris” look with you!
